MOSCOW, March 25 (RIA Novosti) - Over 22,000 people have signed a petition calling for the secession of Alaska from the United States to seek reunification with Russia.

    Two funny things about this. 1)There was no such thing as Russia when the Aleuts arrived so that claim is bunk water.
    2)Some Russian religious fundie group was actually trying to sue the US govt over the sale of Alaska claiming the US paid Russia with a cheque, not the gold coin specified in the agreement of sale. ROTFL

    So was it Mexican proxies that did the same in Texas? This is just people misusing the law to stick it to the govt or Obama or whatever.

    I wouldn't put it past the Russians that it's an organized campaign just to fling shit at the US using their own rules against them. Wouldn't be the first, won't be the last.

    That's because he was told he would be paid 14 000, not knowing they mean roubles, not dollars :lol:
