Two funny things about this. 1)There was no such thing as Russia when the Aleuts arrived so that claim is bunk water. 2)Some Russian religious fundie group was actually trying to sue the US govt over the sale of Alaska claiming the US paid Russia with a cheque, not the gold coin specified in the agreement of sale.
