Gibsons resident Janeth Lesko was clearly traumatized by the experience of watching the bear being shot.
So why did she stay to watch?
I also wonder how traumatized she'd have been had the police not shot the bear and a day or so later it attacked someone's pet.... or child?
Then her , like I would blame the RCMP for not shooting it lol
But since conservation officers weren't available to deal with what the police saw as a aggressive animal they dealt with it the best way they thought. I hate to hear of any animal being killed like this, maybe police should be armed with tranquilizer guns for cases like this until conservation officers can arrive. A sad story.
Um try "what the world sees as an agressive animal". No one looks at full size bear and says "Oh come here cutes bottsie,come play with me, here beary beary beary."
But since conservation officers weren't available to deal with what the police saw as a aggressive animal they dealt with it the best way they thought.
