Dear Mexico: You are going to lose. Save whatever face you need with the wall, and cut a deal for the rest.
Don't be like Palestine, or your country will look like Palestine.

Dear Potato: RUN AWAY AND HIDE !!

And now we laugh and celebrate the threatening aimed at long-time friends and allies. What a time to be alive!

Mexico is neither friend nor ally.

It's a basket case 3rd world narco state.

At least whacky Gaddafi was able to keep his borders under control.

Again, we see the tactics, which I agree are not diplomatic in the traditional sense but which is popular in the U.S because of the state of the nation. The problem is, once again, America has been shyte on for a long time, this is simply the outcome of so many years of abuses by so many, including Canada which I need not go into again.

11 Million illegal immigrants are in the U.S and Mexico denies any culpability in this? Let's consider this for a moment and how resources have been stretched dealing with this.

If you shed a tear for this tough stance he is taking, you had better shed a tear for those refugees who are no longer welcome, a great deal thanks to the fact that there are so many illegal immigrants in the country already. Like debt and bad trade deals, there are long term consequences to bad policies.

I hope Trump can get along. I hope other nations look at themselves in the mirror and honestly assess how much they have abused the U.S.

Pretty hypocritical to call a country a bad friend and narco state after supplying their cartels with information and weapons...no?

The US is far from the panacea of NA they claim to be.

Trump "reportedly" said all these things.

Well, then I suppose he can 'reportedly' say anything the leftist media wants him to say and the media will then reduce their credibility to tabloid status.

Used to be the media didn't run with a story unless there were at least two corroborating on-the-record witnesses saying the same thing or unless there were written proof. They used to call that 'journalistic integrity'.

    Used to.

The Mexican government says this threat didn't happen. I'll go on their word. The disgusting display he made towards the Australians was real though so fuck him for being such a pig towards one of the best allies the United States has ever had.

One of my friends who is still 'in' thinks the 'threat' of sending special forces to deal with the cartels was actually an and that certain units have been spinning up to provide that assistance. Apparently the Mexican regime is tottering on the edge of collapse outside of the Federal District and they may need the help.

Trump is reversing Obama's executive decision to take in the refugees that Australia deported to Nauru.

These are people the Aussies thoroughly investigated and then determined they were so dangerous to Australia that they had to be sequestered on an island in Nauru.

Why does the US have to take in people that the Aussies deem dangerous?

Like Trump said, this is a dumb deal and he's not going to let it happen. By the way, some of these people are not from war-torn areas but instead from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, and etc. and are not refugees at all.

Did it ever occur to any of you fanboys that you can re-open these kind of agreements without insulting everyone in the fucking conversation? In what world are you living in that you think it's absolutely appropriate for your object of worship to accuse the leader of an allied nation of trying to "dump the next Boston bombers on us?".

Trump is making enemies out of allies and allies out of enemies. Hope all the fools who voted for Trump enjoy living the American S.S.R.

    You're confusing Trump with Obama.

So far Trump has mended fences with Israel, Taiwan, Japan, Poland, Hungary, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, and above all: the United Kingdom.

He is antagonizing our enemies by frustrating them and he's also managed to make some of our pretend allies reveal themselves as the enemies they've been all along. Like the EU.

Even CNN is offended by the EUroweenie President:

    http://www.cnn.com/2017/01/31/politics/ ... ion-trump/

First CNN puts up a headline that inflames their own readers against the EU:

European Union president trashes Trump as 'threat'

And then CNN manages to get to the root of the issue:

Lehne notes that Tusk's statement comes as the EU faces Russian assertiveness, a refugee crisis, rising populist movements in Europe, and critical elections in France, the Netherlands and possibly Italy.

The EU knows that Trump will support the nationalists in France, Netherlands, and Italy. What's ironic is that with this attack on Trump this dumbfuck Tusk is Trump to support the anti-EU forces.

That's more than a bit of a stretch.
