Forum: Current Events   Topic: Woman's suit seeking info on sperm donor can proceed

A complete medical history of the donor should be presented to the birth-mother prior to insemination and such documentation kept by the family and included in the child's medical history. Other than that, that is all they need to know if the donor requested anonymity. There are many emotional facto...

I really have to laugh at his comments about the US support of Quebec. Most Americans (especially this far south) probably couldn't pick Quebec out on a map, much less give a crap. They would probably also tell Quebec that they tried something similar in 1861 and it didn't work out so well. A ...

what? The Berlin Wall is in Quebec? No, they're proposing that they build a wall around Quebec. I'm all for using federal tax dollars for that project, provided the walls are water-tight. You would lost me Lemmy :( Think a bit... Water-tight wall 100% the way around the place and lots and lot...

Canada shouldn't allow deserters to stay. The last paragraph of the article states it perfectly. The Conservatives have stated that unlike the thousands of conscientious objectors who fled to Canada during the Vietnam war, the newest arrivals voluntarily joined the United States military and deserte...

That is too funny. I liked how the 2nd cop was trying to keep a straight face as this ape was getting all fired up over the girl blowing bubbles towards them. I think he needs a refresher course in how to deal with idiots when it doesnt amount to a hill of beans

Some of us would just like to have have the freedom of choice as to whether we would like to, or to not own guns. Not some half baked politician forcing their jaundiced views on the population. Exactly! Especially since said politician probably lives in a gated community or many, many blocks from t...

It is nice to belong to a forum, such as this one, because it is not easy to find a place where you can just hang out and banter with someone without having to worry about "putting on airs" to try and impress someone. I've made some pretty good friends that I would have never met otherwise...

I'm quite sure this one will be before the Supreme Court before it is over. The legislators that passes such a stupid law should have their heads examined.

Apparently this happened in March of 2009. The Sun's article sounds little better than supermarket tabloid to me. I did some searching and found a good bit of information on a Facebook page about the incident. In particular, the technical information towards the bottom of the page explains why the t...
