Has anyone gone to a ballet? I'm thinking of taking my Mom for mother's day, she's really into the arts and has never been before so i thought it might be a refreshing change. just wondering if someone can shed some light on whether it's worth it. here are the events i'm thinking of bringing her to.... |

'Home Alone meets Braveheart' haha. I went to Edinburgh this past summer and loved it. The UK culture is pretty interesting, its history even more so. This looks like a promising flick for 2009. |

This got 100% on Rotten Tomatoes... basically unheard of. I think it was deserving of it.. it can appeal to anybody. i'm not a wrestling fan, but i was taken. it's a story more about the human condition and dedication than wrestling as a sport. |

Without giving too much away, here's a brief synopsis of what I think will be the new (and improved) Brokeback Mountain... "While living in New York City, Harvey Milk celebrates his 40th birthday. Anxious to find more purpose in their lives, he and his lover Scott Smith move to San Francisco, w... |

Looks awesome. It's supposed to be pretty controversial as well. I'd totally make a porn to get out of debt. I'd rather star in one though.

I saw this last year at TIFF, I thought I was the only one that was really impressed with it.
I'll have to see it again since it's been awhile. |

I was watching Harold and Kumar last week and saw a preview for probably one of the freakiest movies of the year. The Strangers is a full on retelling (or 'inspired' by) events that happened in California in the 80s called the Keddie cabin murders. (according to Wikipedia.) Here's what happened, fro... |
