I guess it would be far too much to ask the CBC to publish the reports they are referencing from their FOIA requests.

They only quoted 19 words from CSIS and spun that into more CBC quality liberal slop.

Anyone else find it ironic that Nepal is worried about the spread of illness from feces when it was Nepalese troops that killed 8200 Haitians by shitting in their water supply?

Time for Nepal to bite the bullet and severely limit who can climb. Get the world climbing community to raise money to replace the lost income to the Sherpas. Chomolungma is being defiled. This is what happens when you let white people near a Goddess Maybe Nepal can invest a little bit of money in ...

So long as people driving in the left lane at driving at the posted limited with respect to the road conditions they can't be violating any law because they are already traveling as fast as is legally possible. No one could be held up by them because they are already going as fast as they can. For p...

From the wiki entry on prohibition: In a study of more than thirty major U.S cities during the Prohibition years of 1920 and 1921, the number of crimes increased by 24 percent. Additionally, theft and burglaries increased by 9 percent, homicides by 12.7 percent, assaults and battery rose by 13 perc...

Again with the religious hatred, since you must be talking about all Muslims, since that is what the article is about. Just can't tell the difference, can you? All Muslims are the same to you. You going to call Muslims vermin again, too? They are not all the same but enough support beliefs that I o...

The problem is that teh violence can be shown to be at least as bad in places/times where alcohol is forbidden. For instance, virtually all types of crime increased during prohibition. It's not true that with prohibition crime was on the raise. Prior to the start of prohibition crime shot up (1900-...

This is an actual informed opinion on the story from a friend of mine who spent 22 years as a military doctor, doing two rotations at KAF with ISAF: Misleading and poorly researched story once again. The health of veterans fluctuate and illnesses progress. A regular health review with a physician e...

The only way to get a positive outcome is to shame the VA department enough for the government to take action to try and bring them in. Not that it is going to work given the entrenched position of the VA employees. The law can change and directives can be given but if the people working in VA hate ...

Still, anger over the costumes reportedly boiled over at school. One of the students was confronted by several others in the school cafeteria before a teacher broke up the crowd, said Abby Corneluis, a Grade 12 student. I wonder if the school took action against those students and cautioned them ab...

Just go ahead and blame white men for it.

Pretty well-thought out ideas here, Xort, especially #4. That is, of course, one of the things that kills support for photo radar to the extent that it exists, and I imagine that a municipal politician could go to town on something like that if they were to put it in their platform-e.g., specifying...
