I hear only 17 or so are total right offs, most have to be taken back to the U.S. for repairs due to the lack of adequate repair facilities in the region. The machinery losses really mean nothing regardless as the U.S. has 1000s of unused M1s sitting in mothballs and will probably be scaling down it...

Traditional British values are on the decline even in *Britain* these days so I think a return to them here would be a hard sell indeed. Anyways, I've read that Canada has fully 1/3rd as many people said to be to full time members of hate groups as the U.S. {IIRC 10K vs 30K}, if the vaunted mosaic m...

It's been my experience that the U.S. society *is* more tolerant overall, that wasn't the case even 20 years ago but it has since shown remarkable ongoing improvement while Canada seems to be going the other way. I attribute this to the fact that Canada society, which was to begin with unused to peo...

I'm not a racist but I certainly am a culturalist. Anyway, "La Raza" aside, the U.S. melting pot works. My girlfriend is a first generation American, and she's 101% Americanized {don't say it! :P }, in fact even her parents are fully assimilated {enough to teach university} despite their barely spea...

I despise mosaic multiculturalism both as a Canadian and as a minority, it just seems to breed divisiveness and racial resentment. It's funny that cmasta mentions Toronto though as IMO that's about the closest thing to a successful implementation of multiculturalism you're going to find in Canada...

I've never heard of a native Nazi but I've run into a fair number of natives who were basically white supremisists, so many just seem to have such a colonized mentality that their whole reality is warped. BTW, here's a vintage pic of real Indians fighting for Nazi Germany. 8O http://www.ww2incolor.c...

Sgt. Mills Ive lived in the U.S several times and I love it here. In fact, this has been the 3rd time ive moved to the U.S I think and I have been here almost a year and it's been the best experience I have had. I learned so much concerning the politics that goes on here. People from Montana to Nev...

The most important things I ask of any government is that they keep their hands out of my wallet and off my guns as much as possible and these are things that the nannying elitists in Ottawa can't seem to do. I'm going to make it a point to buy "underground" next time I pick up a projectile thrower,...

Vancouver's a nice city, overrated maybe but still nice. Surrey not so much. IMHO Surrey is nothing less than the worst urban area in Canada aside from maybe a certain handful of blocks in Vancouver's Downtown Eastside. I've been to such notorious places like Jane-Finch and Scarborough in the ...

I'm not exactly an MIT grad or the like but I really doubt that any of the handful of preproduction Commanche prototypes were sent to shooting wars Iraq and A-stan when you have a design not even slated to go into service until 2009 so to me that calls the rest of your spiel into question.

That's a hard path you're choosing, especially when you consider that even *with* a work permit you still may well have a hard time. I wish you luck all the same.

Why is the grass always greener? Every country has it's problems. I can tell you honestly, you do not want to be a part of a country that makes enemies of the rest of the world. The World HATES the US. Safer to be from anywhere else.... except maybe Italy... US declared open season on Italians. I c...

It's too bad we couldn't trade, I'd be willing to swap my Canadian citizenship for U.S. citizenship, I'd even throw in my EUropean citizenship for free!
