It's quite obviously the workers' fault............the theory (as espoused by governments in Canada of late) that you only get what you pay for, plainly shows that the workers are 'sub-standard' because they aren't getting paid enough. And no matter how much you pay executives, none of them can make... |

Benoit Benoit: Democracy is the will of the majority, farmers are a tiny minority. I am sure you would question this statement you made if it involved you on the receiving end of your neigbours deciding whether you should have your appendix removed -- you being one person and the neigbours being in the majority. |

And of course there is the political leverage (if one wants to narrow the defiition of waste). Government (of all stripes) spend money primarily to enhance the party's chances of remaining the government. Should some benefit derive from this spending, it is more in the arena of happenstance.... |
