Brenda Brenda:
Media shouldn't "promote" anything.

All Media Outlets are biased. They sell a product, information, and need ratings to make a profit. Fearmongering, sells. Thats what they do.

Numure, you know as well as I do that the French QC media is not always straight forward with all of their news reports, mostly on politics. Not all the facts are being reported, often enough important details are left out which could change the entire significance of any news report. I know that I...

Brenda Brenda:
It's not the majority that wants Quebec seperated.

Agreed. And let's not forget that Quebec has ignored TWO plebiscites on the issue.

Ignoring the referendums would of resulted with a unilaterral declaration of Independance.

That did not happen.

They have been respected.

But what is good for Canada is not good for Quebec... At least, that is what they want us to believe. Not always. Canada is so different from one end to the other. I think each province should have more autonomy, not just Québec. They would support a coalition of NDP/LPC/Bloc... Ah... I see... They...

Brenda Brenda:
$1:
The bloc have done a great job at getting more for Québec.

Explain to me...
WHY exactly are they in this "coalition" to govern CANADA?

They said they would support the Coalition. Not form the governement. Difference of words.

What is good for Québec, doesnt have to be bad for Canada.

Comments like this surely could be considered as an attempt at provocation. I admit they are provocative. As for the art funding, TVA created that ''vague'' of controversy as they do for anything else. They never considered that some funds could be better spent elsewhere in other sectors. But it's ...

The issue is pretty much dead. Very few Quebecers want seperation, myself included. Since the last referendum we've had so much given to us by Canada, why would we want to? It probably won't change anytime soon. When federal parties make big promises to Quebec, they get votes. When they cut funding,...

Seeing Dion(Monsieur Clarity) and Duceppe putting their obvious differences aside to try and work together to bring solutions to current crisis was reassuring. I would of been quite please if Harper would of done the same thing and tried to bring parlement together, you know, instead of tring to kil...

http://www.legermarketing.com/documents/pol/081241ENG.pdf http://img26.picoodle.com/img/img26/3/12/6/f_deckm_448dc25.png Intresting Poll. Most Quebecers support the Coalition... Even if Harper went into Election, how could he get a majority without Québec? It is possible though, just...

Don't get me wrong, I'm not defending the Taliban. But you have to realize the Taliban see themselves as freedom fighters who are engaging in guerrilla warfare. Freedom from what? Western Values. Not everyone thinks having a McDonalds at every street corner is the way to go, apparently. Kidding asi...

Get a grip! The NHL is a business----BIG BUSINESS.....it's entertainment....HOLLYWOOD. Every business needs a market......few Canadian cities....provide that market. The Leafs sell-out because of the vast GTA market. The Habs have sold out every game 5-6 years straight. The are currently holding th...
