I fail to see how this "Makes America Great Again". (R)(TM) We finally have a President who's enforcing a law that was technically signed by Democrat Bill Clinton when he allowed it to pass into law without a veto. He's also refusing to kiss the asses of the Muslims who already hate us an...

Probably one of your crigne right wing blogs. As to the no NHL, I can see why that was done as much as us fans will be pissed off (myself included). The Olympics are supposed to be amateur athletes competing, not professionals making money. There’s no Biathalon Premier League or National Curling Le...

This is the country after all that ended up spending billions to refurbish submarines (that still don't work worth a damn). All four are in service and fully operational. HMCS Corner Brook finished her latest upgrade and operates out of Halifax. HMCS Victoria is active and operates out of B.C. HMCS...

Gotta save up to give money to future Liberal Party member Jihadi Jack.

A little off topic, but these payments wouldn't of had to be made if your idiot Cons didn't abuse the rights of a Canadian citizen.

Just so you all know, this is not a new policy. This happens all the time when members cannot perform their duties in a field unit or sea going unit. It has nothing to do with disability payments. They are talking about their Land Duty Allowances/SOF Allowances. Fucking bullshit sensationalist headl...

For the same reason people make films about if the Germans had won WW II. It's called fiction.

Saw the film last night. Not as good as I had hoped. I don't think they spent a whole lot of time on effects. The beach did not look like it was the scene of a mass retreat of 325000 troops. Some of the ships used were simply boarded up mock ups. The aerial scenes were pretty good though, except the...

Isn't this the same city that champions a parade that allows a goodly portion of it's participants to dress inappropriately, pretend to commit indecent acts and throw their personal sexuality in your face while pretending that, if those things offend you it's your fault and you should have just sta...

did they 'say' anything that could be perceived as anti Indian? Just protesting some indian gathering is fair play in my book. If they can do it so can we. Except, as members of the CAF, they are not allowed to be members of or associated with racist organizations. Or organizations that could bring...

That $13.9B is a very small drop in a very, very large bucket, as for the time frame, it has all the earmarks of being nothing more than an election promise.....Canada desperately needs replacements for our aging fleet of frigates, destroyers and oilers/replenishment ships not to mention the need f...

I've long suggested that Canada would do well to partner with the US and build your ships in US shipyards with US designs. Then the ships can be serviced in the US and you get the added advantage of easy integration with US Navy logistics when fulfilling roles that require your ships to operate at ...

Oh FFS! How is a frigate or even a destroyer going to cost $4.1 billion each?!? We should just get the plans for the Arleigh Burke from the US and build those - they cost $1.8 billion each according to Wikipedia. Even if we add 50% to 'Canadianize' them, they'd still be cheaper. As for the frigates...
