I always wonder if Peter Jennings is a proud Canadian, I haer that he isnt even a US citizen! :D And I hear that Dan Ackroyd turned down a big movie offer in the US to work on the CBC movie "The Arrow"! (Great show BTW) Damn, looks like there are bigger Canadian patriots than me! Ackroyd when asked... |

See, I don't define myself as an American. I am Canadian. I am a Canadian first, and everything else second. What is wrong with that opinion. What is wrong with being proud of where you were born? Or is that something reserved for those south of the border, and everyone above must strive to be more ... |

Yes, we do need to spend more money. We don't need many more troops, just get enough to be able to have a nice rotation so that the same guys aren't over seas at all times. Plus, get them equiped properly. That is my main beef. Our jets were so outdated that they weren't wanted over in Iraq. The fun... |

Then what? In 200 years I doubt we will still be reliant on oil. Not only that, but I will be dead so I won't care. So will you, so it isn't like you'll care either. You also seem to be confusing radical islamics with every other arab/islamic person out there. You seem to think the few represent th... |

Yup, this is great.
He is the first canadian ever to win a major tournament. The fact that it is the Masters is an added bonus. |

OK, I have been reading a lot more complaints from people on both sides of the country about separating. You have many people in Alberta wanting to separate now, together with individuals in the other western provinces. The bloc in Quebec is still strong, albiet weakening. All this is really annoyin... |

Only thing I care about is the fact that he said he won't support an act of treason, unlike about 6 of his party members.
And yes, I also think the bloc is a treasonous party. I make no favouries. |

Ya, that right Ottawa. Gilmour is once a leaf.
You add that to Nolan, Housley and Wesley, and there is a bunch of talent and heart just waiting to win a cup. |

Dude, the Canadian troops were doing night training exercises in a designated training area and the U.S. pilots dropped a 400lb bomb on them.
One of the fathers of the dead soldiers is refusing to except the medal, as he feels the gesture is a poor attempt to save face. |

I say go.
There is more then one reason to do it, and I don't feel like listing them all.
But I think it is going to happen anyway, and we should do our part. |

Well, I follow the NFL way more then I follow the CFL.
I still watch the CFL once and while (actually more this year then ever before) as one of my friends plays for the Blue Bombers, but the NFL is what I prefer.
I know, I should support my Canadian teams, and I am getting better. |

Ontario, as it has:
1. the only very stable hockey team in Canada;
2. the capital city
3. the largest city
4. the most influential business district in the country
5. only pro-basketball team in Canada |

CanadaKA CanadaKA: i think it is a "new music" countdown I think U2 - Electrical Storm should be on the list
Good lord I am sick of that song. I hear it about 5-8 times a day on the edge, and it isn't even a song I like to begin with.
Anyway, I would put Our Lady Peace up there. |
