If you haven't installed the game, or the demo yet, you may want to reconsider. http://games.slashdot.org/article.pl?sid=07/08/24/213256 The rootkit rumour has been debunked. But, by installing the game, Securerom is installed which does a call to an activation server to determine how many times th...

Finally a game to give my 8800GTS a good workout. ;)

Tricks Tricks:
Hmmm apparently overclocking is bad for this game. Can anyone else confirm this?

BF2 is sensative to memory overclocks... set the clocks on your memory to default. 667/800 etc.

Click the DirectX Files tab, and then look in the Notes box. If all DirectX files are present and undamaged, the Notes box reports "No problems found". Under display settings acceleration set to full and test. Then run BF2 with your command line as: F:\BF2\BF2.exe(wherever that is on your...

I also have a similar problem. I recently bought Battlefield 2142 and it installs fine but won't run the game. I have an ATI 9600XT video card which is just above the requirements. I also bought Jade Empire and it installs fine but when I click on the exe icon to run the game, it just says, Applica...

Being a dwarf isn't easy.. especially in that circumstance. Why anyone would want to use their wiener to pull things around is beyond me. He should have at least gone big and attempted pulling a big rig with it. lol Might be his idea for penis enlargement? Sounds like the glue was good though, I wo...

I was playing BF2 on thursday and my video card crapped out. Since I'm running on hardware that's almost three years old I still have an AGP vid card slot and DDR ram. So I decided to bite the bullet and order all new hardware, hell I'm even getting a new case. I ordered it early Friday from NCIX.C...

RUEZ RUEZ:
Damnit, that was an expensive game of BF2. I fried my vid card, it must have been on it's last legs. Oh well I was looking for an excuse to upgrade.

That sucks man. If you have a PCI-E motherboard, Futureshop has EVGA 8800GTS-320mb on sale for $270.00, which is an awesome price for that card.

from a google query: "Call your local municipality, sanitation department or garbage collector. They usually have provisions for picking up larger items, but you may need to make arrangements in advance." I thought about sneaking around those new neighbourhoods where they're building hous...
