I think this Frack should pay for these expenses out of his own pocket. Moron should be grateful he doesn't live in a National Socialistic country like Nazi Germany wanted.

This is Bull! No government should be able to demand that a future government that is properly elected must follow the current government's plans and strategies. this would make for an easy dictatorship take over.

If found to be true, the punishment should be fit to the crime. I'm not sure what good it would do to whip him across his belly until he bleeds, and running him into a wall would do, so maybe a lifetime of cleaning out the horses stalls and following them as parade cleanup might be more effective (s...

Wow. apparently I am not awake either. I just signed the petition and posted to Facebook, thinking this would have been more for the trial soldiers rather than for those of us who actually served and see no need to wear the gongs. My timing's a little off today, too. 8O

Thank you. I'm off to our local Remembrance service soon, your picture tour is extremely moving and I will recommend it to the veterans unable to travel back. The Royal Canadian Legion's Act of Remembrance seems fitting for this thread: "They shall not grow old, as we that are left grow old; Ag...

No, nationalization doesn't work. I would like to she Canadian ownership of the refineries and priority given to Canadian retailers. The fact of life is because people allowed it by doing nothing to avoid it. Delivery charges to Montana is absorbed by the owning companies as a cost of doing business...

I can see this is pointless. My position is that any Canadian citizen who(m) ? commits a crime within Canada should be charged with that crime when proven to have committed that crime by a court of law in Canada. If The Queen commits or causes to be committed a crime in Canada, the worst action we c...

It is our government that regulates our jurisdiction in Canada, and as the Queen is NOT a citizen of Canada, she cannot be charged with a crime here. She has the same diplomatic immunity we afford to other dignitaries while here. Her representatives, on the other hand, ARE Canadian citizens and ther...

The only thing that the local anti-Disney petition is doing for me is forcing me to find another outlet to purchase the movies I want to own. The local video store has my loyalty as a customer due to customer service, but this is causing friction with us as they try to secure copies of the movies I ...

I realize we have a large number of refineries in Canada, however they are owned directly or indirectly by Americans. And we could set our own prices here and charge them for delivery. I do not place any of my faith in the American dominance of North America.
