let the current mission run it's course, then double it! Include the air force, providing force protection for our troops. CF-18's, Griffon, Chinooks, everything we have. No more "toes in the water" approach, lets jump in and finish the damn job!

The military diversifying its ranks will be equally as effective as the Leafs diversifying their ranks without regard to who can best do the job. My priorities for soldiers are as follows: #1: You must love your country so much that you are willing to die for it. #2: You must love your country so mu...

I tell you now that this is all bullshit. Peaceful protest to raise awareness my ass. I watched a report this morning where the leader of these morons was indicating that if confronted, they had guns, weapons etc. and would use force if necessary? This is no longer a peaceful protest. These people n...

Should give the rangers up there now defending Canada's sovereignty something bigger then a ww2 surplus 303 british rifle then. Quite a bit more, and some better training to boot. But only after we establish a permanent arctic warfare/training base up there. Without the logistical platform f...

Well put, I agree entirely. I do still believe that we should build heavy armed ice breakers as oppsed to these light duty boats. By heavy armed-I mean a wee bit more than the Bofors guns. I think Torpedos would be a rough design given the hull type for ice breaking but guided missiles, and/or Phala...

Why waste the time........I am filled with anger reading this little pissant's opinion on the whole issue, but why waste the time belittling him/her/it. We understand what Harper felt on those hallowed grounds, we do. Canadians do. This little shit is more than likely, and I hate to say it, not Cana...

Actually it's called a Permanent resident card aka "green card" or I-551. I don't know what this waiver is but this is not it. I have a Social security number as well-enabling me to work in the U.S. and vote. As I said before-a very difficult process, but so it should be given what is at s...

I moved to the U.S. from Canada last year after marrying my wife (a U.S. Citizen). Having a prior criminal record form 12 years ago made the move very difficult. I hired an immigration lawyer, paid a ton of money, and got it all handled. It took 2 years + and a trip to the U.S. consulate in Montreal...

I remeber this thread from page 1. I read abbas first post where he said he was not Canadian, but Indo-Canadian. I gave up on this fruit way back then. I hadn't realized that there was still a debate going on here. I'd love to join in but I refuse to debate with people who call themselves Indo-Canad...

The whole place is rife with corrupt cops. I have had fortune and misfortune with a few Mexican police officers on several different occasions, in a few different locales. Cancun in particlular, being all touristy, is a haven for criminally inspired cops. You can buy weed from one and the next will ...
