$1: And ONE thing Mario and Schumacher never did - Most wins (4) in his rookie year of F1. That broke the 3 wins by Juan Manuel Fangio and Giuseppe Farina in the 1950 season - something no one has done since!
Jacques is still my boy.
Lewis Hamilton has 4 wins. |

The F4 was proof that with enough power a brick can fly. True enough. Just have to know how to use your aircrafts advantages and exploit your enemies disadvantages. To respond to knoss, once the USN and USAF opened fighter tactic and acm schools, pilot training wasn't an issue. With this training p... |

-MC- Not true, the air force still operates U-2s. Yes and no. The current version is the one pictured....a TR1 is the designation. Yes and no? The USAF fact file says they operate 36, two of which are used by NASA. Even if that number varies from time to time, U-2s are still operational in the USAF... |

I thought all the U2s moved over to NASA .Moonbats will have another thing to worry about now. They did. This one was probably brought out of retirement or retasked from NASA. Not true, the air force still operates U-2s. In fact I don't believe NASA has ever controlled all or even a larger amount o... |

Suckered the Aussies? No that's not why he did it. "As the ball went in, as the San Siro fell into a hush, Totti instinctively sucked his thumb, a habit he started in salute to his newborn son last season." source: http://www.iht.com/articles/2006/11/12/sports/soccer.php Totti had been do... |

-Mario- -Mario-: Could anyone tell me if this is from the HMCS Bonaventure???
No it's not. The number 14 signifies that it is the USS Ticonderoga. It does look like an Essex class carrier and the tracker looks American as well. |

I shall never forget the game against the Americans when one Italian player rolled around as if his leg had been amputated by an American player. The American player was carded. Suddenly the Italian player is miraculously healed! Not only that but within 5 minutes of the carding he scores a goal! T... |

You are right on some points. I would like to see no use of military at all. I could argue how we can add hinges to fold the wings of our CF-18 fighters, making them carrier based aircraft. Remember we have 33 in storage. It's really, really good; but the nagging question is what would we use it fo... |

Did you read what I wrote? You attempted to lecture me that we need arctic defence to enforce our security, but the reason you raise the issue is my argument that we need arctic defence. You mentioned an arctic deep water port, but again I'm the one who said we need a deep water port. Specifically ... |

Response to Winnipegger: We do need a capability in the arctic to enforce our sovereignty. The north-west passage will be used more frequently as it gets warmer and becomes the ideal shipping route when compared to the Panama Canal. The Americans believe that the north-west passage does not belong t... |

Taliban/Al Qaeda Another mistake, and a major one. The Taliban are not Al Qaeda, and the Taliban are not our enemy. George W. invaded Afghanistan rather than providing Taliban evidence of Al Qaeda's guilt. Are the Taliban pissed-off at being killed during an invasion, and kicked out of power by mil... |

we would've had the personnel to deal with Darfur had the Chrétien government not let our forces decrease even further. Be careful of partisan rhetoric. Rick Hillier made a statement about this that got him into trouble. Never forget the financial trouble this country was in. In 1984 Brian Mulroney... |

Nope, as a concept we need ground forces to conduct peace keeping missions, soldiers on the ground with the mark 1 eyeball. You can't get involved with activity around you if you're in a tank. If there's a fortified position, just bomb the shit out of it with a high-speed stand-off weapons platform... |
