VPD detective James Fisher charged with sexual exploitation and sex assault

Vancouver Police Detective James Fisher has been charged with three counts of sexual exploitation, one count of sexual assault, one count of breach of trust and one count of attempt to obstruct justice according to court documents obtained by CBC News.

Fisher is a veteran officer of 29 years who received the 2015 Chief Constable Unit Citation for extraordinary dedication for his part in the VPD's Counter Exploitation Unit's investigation into a child trafficking case.

Christ, how many other kids did he exploit in his 29 years? Disgusting.

He was caught because another cop turned him in. Bravo.

The cop who turned him in deserves an award and a promotion. Sadly, in Canada he will probably be ostacized for daring to betray a "brother in arms".
