Carbon tax expected to have minimal impact on Albertans' electricity bills

I am not fooled by this type of crap, the real pricing won't start until 2018, and lets not forget the 'mandated' green energy portion in 2018 that comes into effect. Solar and wind can't provide enough energy and they are notoriously costly and inefficient, if you really think your utility bills won't go up like Ontario in 2018 then I have a bridge for sale in Saskatchewan...

What they are really saying is they have no idea what's going to happen as indicated in the article posted. I have been tracking all of my utility bills for over a year now with the detailed breakdown of cost. I will be happy to show the difference not just on Jan 2017 but in Jan 2018 when the real cost starts to hit Albertan's. It was never really the carbon portion that worried me, it was the mandated green energy that has me worried, because they can't stand on their own two feet without massive subsidies.
