Would be funny to see them actually follow though on their threat and move to Canada, I can see their faces when they watch their salaries drop substantially.

America is the greatest country in the world. As long as those who believe in the constitution hold others to maintain the beauty of that document, it will remain the greatest country in the world. Anyone running away from individual rights to a collective system doesn't deserve to live in America anyways so they are doing America a favour by leaving.

I find it incredibly funny the who people throw out idea like, "if x wins I am moving'..then within about 1 hour of actually doing any research they quickly realize they really just can't move. Even a 'rich' US citizen on a 'business' immigration status would take YEARS to get a red card here. By then Donald will be long gone...people in the US did this last election and the election before...so on.

It isn't like the sun won't rise in the morning just because they voted for that clown, life really won't change.

Well, if you have money you can do a great deal, especially in America where being a citizen has great benefit. They can buy a mansion in Canada and live here six months of the year without issue. They could then fly to their villa in the Mediterranian for a little while.

Although this means little income, so as long as they saved well and spend wisely, they could retire comfortably. None of them will leave though, they will be less honest than the politicians they hate.

The bombs will fall here too. There is no escape for anyone.

Who cares? If they want to leave then leave. They have the same ability as anyone else who will never be publicly named because they don't act or sing or whatever.

I'll never get why some people obsess over the opinions/actions of celebrities. They are just people who happen to work in the entertainment industry which is weirdly always hailed above other industries/professions that actually make a difference in everyone's day-to-day lives.

It unfortunately happens because the American media, that doesn't do real news anymore, made celebrity opinion important. If real factual information, like on how he ripped off every single investor that got into business with him or every contractor that worked for him or every woman he molested or treated like less than a dog, mattered Trump wouldn't have won. The "real" media is obsessed with entertainment as much as the more-obvious celebrity media is. That's why getting the opinions of the Kardashians is now more important than investigating a man who wants to launch a nuke at someone just to see what happens turned out to be.

One follows the other. It's no accident that a decline in education, a decline in civility, and a general decline in the moral and ethical quality of far too many citizens all preceded the victory of this simply awful person.
