Some credit to Trudeau for not being stupid and taking shots at Trump, seems he has better handlers and advisors than Wynne. You don't over reach or meddle in others democracies, you put yourself in a place to be able to objectively work with anyone who is democratically elected.

There are a lot of politicians that really need to STFU for a while,
and hope their previous statements won't be used against them.

Just like the NDP in Alberta, this was a protest vote, for good or bad. He will likely be a one term prez, but people who wanted change..guess what; you are now saddled with it.

We often get the government we deserve, not the government we want.

It comes down to him being able to deliver. If he is able to bring back jobs, boost the economy by 3% year, correct the illegal immigration issue, he will be re-elected. This, along with Obamacare and trade negotiations. I know this, I won't underestimate him, I did that throughout the entire presidential process (as did so many), I will hope for success for him and the entire American people.

One thing is certain, the next democratic nominee will be far left, into socialist territory. If this is the case, we had all better hope Constitutional Conservatives lead the way, we don't need more socialism, lost generations and lost prospects for the Rights of citizens at the alter of centralized state powers. It's a recipe for a dire and depressing world. Respect the constitution, respect the Right of Individual Freedoms and Rule of Law. Listening Canada?

Judging by the UK, I would disagree.
Labour has Jeremy Corbyn now, an old Marxist, and they will get
absolutely slaughtered if there is a spring election,
    which I am hoping for.

The Democrats selected the 1000% wrong person, period.
Sanders would not have beaten Trump.

Sanders is far left and a self-proclaimed "socialist" so what are you disagreeing about?

Sanders might have beaten him, he had massive support among millennials and was almost as much an outsider as Trump. If not for Super electorates and a clearly and openly biased Democratic party, Sanders would have beaten Clinton and her massive machine.

Oh, and furthermore, Obama rightly wanted Joe Biden to run, he would have had a better chance than Clinton. She had way too high negatives and baggage, she was not trusted, far too guarded. She believed the path to the Whitehouse was a given, she felt her dynasty was enough to win the Whitehouse. It doesn't work that way, it's the reason Obama was able to beat her in the primaries. The FBI investigations certainly didn't help. The FBI aren't like Canadian police who chase rabbits, they take their oath seriously...they uphold their constitution....

There is one point I have to grant, Trump beat EVERYONE. He beat the GOP who refused to support him, the media who laughed at him, the Democrats who thought he couldn't win, the global leaders who suggested he couldn't win, the identity politics of the left who looked to divide to drive their votes. The Mexican president now looks wise to have at least given Trump a chance with their meeting, he wisely hedged his bets. It might pay him some political benefit down the road in his dealings with a new, much more business minded Trump administration.

How much did the excessive politically correct, big government policies contribute to his election victory? I would suggest just as much as his promise for jobs and immigration reform. Americans want that old patriotic nation back, the nation Reagan encouraged, the nation too many seemed to reject. Even when I doubted Trump, I never doubted his love for his country, it was a powerful message, he got it right, most of the world didn't

America is an exceptional nation, I don't care what others say. They will go back to their brash and bold existence, so be it. Within the framework of a constitution, checks and balance system and believe in the God given rights of man, I don't mind it. It's a superior system. Many have experienced the alternative...

    Millenials don't vote.

    Agree about Biden, though.

They would have for Sanders. Consider the massive upsets in the primary, he was polling 1 or 2% before he took flight.

Let me be clear again, I am glad he wasn't the nominee. In my opinion, CLintons policies would have been far superior to Bernies. America doesn't need a socialist president.

Wynne on CP24 right now, seems worried about Trump and NAFTA.

Don't worry, his cabinet will hear from me and my experience with how some working for the state interfere with NAFTA. Make it easier for the U.S to know what to consider when they engage in trade negotiations with Canada.

    I cannot tell a lie.

Add to the fact that millenials are stupid and more apathetic than most. Nothing good going on there. A wasted generation.

And Toronto liberals will ensure that her, or one of idiotic clones, will keep on ruining Ontario.
