Captain America civil war, Doctor Strange, Guardians of the Galaxy 2, Ant-Man 2 and Avengers sound interesting.

Hollywood ran out of comicbook superhero stories, so they ended up rebooting a few of them. Sad. :(

I'm looking forward to at least half of them. :D

    At least 25 to many.

Sorry but, it's disgusting that Hollywood won't use their screen writers to create intelligent, thought provoking movies that make people think and would rather fall back on comic book stories to fill the void with glitzy sets, loud explosions, tight fitting costumes and inane dialogue.

Most movies today are just one step above reality TV.

Yeah maybe, but by the seven rings of Raggador, I've wanted to see me some Doc Strange in a movie theatre since I was a kid.

Some are, I won't dispute that.

But others are pretty good. THe Captain America movies deal with a lot of modern issues like freedom vs. security.

Others like Black Panther and Wonder Woman are a nice sign of diversification in the usual white bread world of Hollywood.

But let's face it, there have always been and always will be popcorn movies which is what the majority of these are. But is that a bad thing? Would you rather watch a superhero movie or some new Adam Sandler POS movie he was paid far far too much for where a donkey shitting on people is considered humour?

Nolan's The Dark Knight set the bar for Superhero movies and Captain America: The Winter Soldier came close to it.

I don't have any of them as must-see mostly because I've been burnt out on superheroes for so long that I don't care anymore. I do watch the movies eventually. Most are meh with a few pleasant surprises. I deviate from the herd and can't figure out the hate for Man Of Steel, nor can I figure out the love for the second Nolan Batman film. I actually thought that Avengers: Age Of Ultron was by far superior to the first Avengers film. Seen the first two X-Men films too many times to watch them anymore but find the McAvoy/Fassbender iterations to be terrific. No love for Spider-Man anymore period. I never want to see another Punisher attempt because Hollywood is too limp dicked to ever do that character correctly. Guardians of the Galaxy was incredible and set a new standard for the others to live up to. I want to see a fourth Blade movie happen too someday, just because.

The Dark Knight is nihilistic trash. It sets the bar for gratuitous violence, that there are is no good in the world. Everyone is corrupt. Everyone in evil, its just a matter of degree.

Marvel actually did that in "Jessica Jones". Strong white and black characters in that one.

I thought it a very intellegent film, compared to most Marvel films.

I liked all the X-Men and Wolverine films too.

    Agreed.

Dolph Lundgren came closest, but that movie was a "B" movie from the start. "War Zone" was second, but that because I like Ray Stevenson. And whatever the hell that was in 2004.

BUT! Rumours are that Daredevil Season 2 may include his nemesis "Frank Castle", and that may produce a spin off.

And the next may blow it's doors off. :)
