The region's sharks can grow up to 6.3 metres and weigh as much as 7,000 pounds. They typically return from the deep ocean to feed at the Farallon Islands this time of year

Unless it's a casting call for Sharknado 4 why report the obvious?

Because they are trying to play the OMGITSGLOBALWARMINGLOOKTHESHARKSAREMOVINGNORTH BS game.

Look, when they get to Victoria, park them in the dock in front of the Legislature.

We have a lot of work for them to do.

They have some big ass sharks in the Georgia Strait. The bluntnose sixgill shark can grow to 8 m , but fortunately they are deep water sharks.

This is not news anymore than it's not news to report that salmon swim upstream to spawn.
