Flooding on the US East Coast remains a concern through Monday, especially in parts of North and South Carolina that already have received up to 11 inches of rain this week.

    So Sandy was only cat 3 but the second costliest hurricane in American history. What does category matter if they do so much damage.

    Sandy was not a hurricane when it came ashore.
