I might. I'm running it on one computer already, since the beta started. I might put it on another computer or two, depending on how they license the versions.

They were saying that the Windows 7 Home and Media versions were forced updates, and that they had to use a Microsoft authenticated logon to function. I won't allow that, so if it's true then my PC that I use for TV viewing (Windows 7 Home) won't be upgraded.

My gaming PC is Windows 7 Ultimate, so I might upgrade it if Steam supports Windows 10. (It didn't support Windows 8 ).

Played with the Beta, stayed w Win8.1 & Classic Shell for now. I have a new SSD on the way, once I clone my HD to it and install it, I'll let it upgrade.
Never been less excited about a Windows release.

I'll probably get it this week. My pc isn't that old yet and looks like it can handle it no problem.

They said that about Millennium Edition too.

Ditto. I have W7 Ultimate and I don't feel like giving that away.

I won't be upgrading my Win 7 machine because I think Win 7 is awesome, but I am seriously considering upgrading my wife's Win 8 laptop because I fricking hate Win 8.

Grandkid pointed out I have another laptop... forgot about the Windows 7 machine that is identical to this one (except 6 GB instead of 8).
I never use it because Win7 is too slow in comparison to Win 8.1. I only haul it out to use Office 2010 which I haven't needed for over 3 months...

    HOLY CRAP!!!
Finally installed my Samsun850 EVO on my 8.1 machine and it boots in seconds. Can't wait for the Win 10 to download....

I upgraded, was super slow and I had to alter my pagefile to fix it for some reason. I'm planning on getting a m.2 ssd at some point and I'll do a fresh install then.

I upgraded this weekend and I have to say I'm impressed. It didn't take long to download and install. I remember a few years ago when MS overhauled IE it felt like it was rewriting my computer's DNA it was such a laborious install. This felt more like a large patch than a major OS upgrade.

    I like it.
