Much like Canada, Britain shows that when you have a so-called 'Conservative' government nothing on immigration, illegal or otherwise, changes in the slightest from what happens when the alleged genuine lefties are in charge. Did the government put sanctions on Sri Lanka in protest? Or did they just put them up in hotels until the issue quieted down and then give them free housing/education/medicine along with a cheque in the mail every two weeks?
