B.C. Premier Christy Clark came under fire Thursday after posting a tweet that seems to make fun of those who oppose plans to shut down Vancouvers Burrard Bridge for a massive yoga celebration later this month.

So basically this about the corporatist left wanting to "Om the Bridge" for Lulumon and the socialist left discovering another excuse for outrage, this time in the name of National Aboriginal Day.

    Who's going to win?

It's kind of like ISIS versus the Taliban. Who cares?

    It is amusing though.

This is why those of us living on the other side of the bridges into Van don't like to cross over them, right?

    Those Hipsters be crazy.

Turns out Gregor won't be biking over there in his Yoga pants. Ahhh...what a lost opportunity for a selfie. He doesn't know whose side to be on in a leftie slapfight, I guess. :)

I think it's stupid and not because it's aboriginal day. It's stupid to close the bridge for yoga. It's a major artery into the city and to close it for this is bs. This coming after the announcement that the city is going take another lane away one the bridge for cyclists and pedestrians.

Does the rich bastard from lulu lemon need more publicity? Couldn't he just say no fat chicks again?

    What a stupid shrew.

B.C. Premier Christy Clark says politicalization of a planned mass yoga session on the Burrard Street Bridge to mark the International Yoga Day has forced her to cancel the event, which was to cost B.C. taxpayers an estimated $150,000.

The video at the link is fun. The guy from the Province really rips into what he figures was a lame brained idea.

"This event should have planned for a park from day one," he says.

Pretty much everyone was saying that from day 1. It just made no sense to hold a mass yoga session on a bridge. Especially when a few hundred meters down the Burrard inlet, there's a perfectly large park with an equally lovely view of the ocean.
