When will we finally get Pharmacare? Hell, we already pay more via our employers for drug coverage than it would cost to cover every citizen. And frankly, "free" healthcare is valueless without guaranteed access to the medecines that treat or cure all those ailments the "free" doctor visits diagnose.

A: Private insurance programs are administered by companies who take a % of the total cost of the program, therefore have a vested interest to keep prices higher for drugs even though they are already generic. Definitely could be cheaper if they had to follow an ODB type forumlary.

B: No such thing as free healthcare.
