An RCMP service pistol and ammunition were stolen in downtown Halifax Friday night from the vehicle of an off-duty New Brunswick Mountie.

    well well well, only police should have firearms...hum...

    we have had many similar stories posted on CKA before, so I won't beat a dead horse, but I will ask, IF that was YOU or ME what would our punishment be as compared to what this one officer's will be?

    Winnipeg Police have one up on this guy.

    They had a shotgun stolen from a marked cruiser. Then never told the public. Only informed them once they found it 8 month later by accident.
