American Sniper should have won but Birdman was a different movie so maybe it did deserve to win.

I was amazed that American Sniper was even nominated! Hard to believe a movie about a guy who made a career of killing moslems didn't get roundly vilified by the Hollywood leftists.

From reviews that I've read, people are seeing it as an antiwar movie. Guess Eastwood is still making his atonement movies. Better watch out, next he'll be coming out with Grand Torino for Muslims. Right after his hit one man Broadway show: "Conversations with my chair."

Imitation Game, Theory of Everything, The Grand Budapest Hotel and American Sniper were all more deserving.

    Lame.

Whiplash too. Forgot Whiplash. What a great movie.

Patricia Arquette's equal rights rant didn't include her maid.

Progressives like to give each other awards.

Now if they could only figure out how to get people to buy tickets to see the crap they give awards to.

I'm always amazed how many people tune in each year to the awards ceremony. Why waste 3 hours of your life watching Hollywood robots of the politically endorsed stroking each other in fancy dress?

It's Prog porn. Well yeah, OK, I guess some people like that sort of thing.

Every year during the show I think I should have watched all the movies so I would know who to hope for. XD

It's not like this is the first time deserving movies have been and it won't be the last either.

Hell, The Lego Movie got totally snubbed this year despite it being excellent and a box office winner. Even the theme song that was performed by Tegan and Sara at the show last night was one of the few high points in a drab ceremony.

The Lego Movie should have been at least nominated as it was one of the best for 2014 but of course it wasn't which shows how out of touch thd Oscars are.
