Grandfather: Teen who shot break-in suspect was protecting his grandmother

Charlotte-Mecklenburg police said the suspect�s brother was shot and killed by a 14-year-old boy. The teen�s family has said the youth was trying to defend his grandmother from a suspect breaking into a window about 5:15 p.m.
