Those women better prepare themselves, they are going to get destroyed on the stand.

It's his only defense; a good strong offense.

They did not even need to take him to court. He's done either way.

They didn't, the prosecutor, representing all of us, did. And I was one who was saying that women need to step up and file charges if they want things to change, so it's good that some have come forward and done so. Now the claims can be properly tested in a court of law.

Yes they do.

If all of this had stopped at the allegations phase, with no charges ever being laid, Ghomeshi would have one hell of a counter suit against the people that made the allegations, as well as people that acted upon the allegations (eg: CBC).

There is a reason he dropped the counter suit against the CBC charges were laid against him.
