Symone Greene, 22, was arrested last week on charges that she has sex with the student on her first day teaching at Options Public Charter School in Washington, D.C.

    Hmmm... I don't know if this is supposed to be in the category 'sexual abuse'. Rape is sexual abuse. This was consensual. And bragged about by both parties. I cannot, and will not, put this in the same category as rape.

    Just because she was his teacher, it is 'not done'. So fire her. Ban her from teaching. Let the school board handle it.

    Despite her 'profession', he was 17, she was 22. That's not even statutory rape, am I right? If I am wrong, I should be right.

    Not saying what the teacher did was right... it wasn't.


    She's 22, he's 17... if they'd met in a McDonald's and gone to her place, this would be a non-story.

    Who's taking advantage of who?
    The teen told police that he 'flirted' with the teacher earlier in the day on October 17 and that he sent a text message to her asking if she was 'kinky.'



    Sorry, but in this case, I think the boy's family is out for a money-grab.
