"ShepherdsDog" said $ 50 million.......don't think he'll see that amount. he might get a few million out of it. Guess he'll have to reincarnate Moxy Fruvous
Ive been fired from the CBC because of the risk of my private sex life being made public as a result of a campaign of false allegations pursued by a jilted ex girlfriend and a freelance writer.
As friends and family of mine, you are owed the truth.
I have commenced legal proceedings against the CBC, whats important to me is that you know what happened and why.
Forgive me if what follows may be shocking to some.
I have always been interested in a variety of activities in the bedroom but I only participate in sexual practices that are mutually agreed upon, consensual, and exciting for both partners.
About two years ago I started seeing a woman in her late 20s. Our relationship was affectionate, casual and passionate. We saw each other on and off over the period of a year and began engaging in adventurous forms of sex that included role-play, dominance and submission. We discussed our interests at length before engaging in rough sex (forms of BDSM). We talked about using safe words and regularly checked in with each other about our comfort levels. She encouraged our role-play and often was the initiator. We joked about our relations being like a mild form of Fifty Shades of Grey or a story from Lynn Coady's Giller-Prize winning book last year. I dont wish to get into any more detail because it is truly not anyone's business what two consenting adults do. I have never discussed my private life before. Sexual preferences are a human right.
Hmm, for some reason I find this reason for his termination hard to believe. The CBC's audience aren't button down, Southern Alberta, Religious fundamentalists so why would they care what he did in his own bedroom even if it became public knowledge. Hell S&M while not mainstream isn't exactly unheard of in this day and age and most people would just shrug their shoulders and carry on when his peccadillo's became public.
There has to be something more to this and while we may never find out the fact remains that if he wins his lawsuit, it isn't just against CBC it's against the Taxpayers of Canada which means we should have the right to know the reasons for his dismissal since we're the defendants.
I saw that. This story has a sort of "British" feel about it ... "sexual deviance leads to sudden resignation." They've lost big chunks of their government over the year in such a manner. If Ghomeshi was making children's programming, I'd expect them to move him along. This is probably unconstitutional and there will be a couple of bucks more income tax from each of us going off to him in the end.
False allegations, he says. Likely she's now claiming it wasn't consensual. Sounds like she's not gone to the cops, but is just spreading dirt about him. PC for CBC would be that women never lie, so he must be the bad guy here.
Don't know what his contract looks like but it must have a "keep your nose clean" clause. Don't have to be found guilty of anything, allegations of misconduct are often enough for getting you canned... that's what you have to live with when you're a public figure.
So he enjoyed a little slap and tickle. From this angle it sounds like someone out to ruin his rep.....why is it women are allowed to decide what was consensual sex(according to Jian) was really abuse the next day, week or month?

I changed your statement to hopefully settle the lawsuit.
Seems the ex has gone to a writer rather than police. It also, according to Ghomeshi's account she has rescinded her statement

It reminds me a bit of that Julian Assange thing in Sweden. If that wasn't a set-up, ill eat my hat.

If Jian is telling the truth he's an idiot for being too stupid to spot and avoid crazy pussy. Some men are jyzt regards when it comes to sex.
Red flag 1: shes 20 years younger. Daddy issues anyone?
Red flag 2: any girl I've known who likes/wants to be on the receiving end of a s&m arrangement is just a train wreck waiting to happen or already in progress.
If he is the victim of a character assassination plot, i feel sorry fir him...but I've always found him to he an insufferable personality at cbc so won't miss him on ghe air.

What the hell, it's only our money.
Wait 'til we get the "real goods" on Don Cherry.

How many have you known?
Never would have suspected you had it in you.
