I have commenced legal proceedings against the CBC, what�s important to me is that you know what happened and why.
Forgive me if what follows may be shocking to some.
I have always been interested in a variety of activities in the bedroom but I only participate in sexual practices that are mutually agreed upon, consensual, and exciting for both partners.
About two years ago I started seeing a woman in her late 20s. Our relationship was affectionate, casual and passionate. Hmm, for some reason I find this reason for his termination hard to believe. The CBC's audience aren't button down, Southern Alberta, Religious fundamentalists so why would they care what he did in his own bedroom even if it became public knowledge. Hell S&M while not mainstream isn't exactly unheard of in this day and age and most people would just shrug their shoulders and carry on when his peccadillo's became public.
There has to be something more to this and while we may never find out the fact remains that if he wins his lawsuit, it isn't just against CBC it's against the Taxpayers of Canada which means we should have the right to know the reasons for his dismissal since we're the defendants.

Don't know what his contract looks like but it must have a "keep your nose clean" clause. Don't have to be found guilty of anything, allegations of misconduct are often enough for getting you ... that's what you have to live with when you're a public figure.
