PM David Cameron says the murder of David Haines is an "act of pure evil", after the release of a video appearing to show the UK hostage's beheading.

    If we're sending (or already sent) JTF2 you won't, at least not right away. We know CSOR went, as "advisors".

    A couple of hundred Canadian military "advisors" are the guests of the Kurds. We are also sending planes-full of materiel to the Kurds (500 tonnes? so far). Anyway, the Kurds have stated that they don't want us to fight their battles for them and that they are quite capable themselves, which is probably quite true. Perhaps, those advisors are going to teach them how to use the gear that we're chipping in.
