Don't read the story unless you feel like being sick to your stomach.

Diversity is a wonderful thing, we need more of it.

Yup, I bet natives in residential schools said that about the Europeans. Or the kids at Mt. Cashel, say, or numerous other instances. If we didn't allow Asians into our country none of this would happen.

In UK media language "Asian" = Muslim.

It doesn't take too much reading between the lines to see this would be part of the "Grooming Gangs" investigations that have been happening throughout the UK over the last couple of years. For some reason the BBC doesn't want to mention that.

I suspect it is because they were complicit in not letting the Grooming Gangs secret get out to the general public over the last 20 years or so.

Prof Jay's report said police "regarded many child victims with contempt" and that by far the majority of perpetrators were described as 'Asian' by victims".

It lays out how Rotherham Council and the police knew about the level of child sexual exploitation in the town, but didn't do anything about it.

They either didn't believe what they were being told, played it down, or were too nervous to act. The failures, the report says, are blatant.

The report estimates that 1,400 children were sexually exploited over 16 years, with one young person telling the report's author that gang rape was a usual part of growing up in Rotherham.

The processes for dealing with these crimes have got better in the last four years, but still improvements need to be made.

There were more apologies from the council today but the report's author says they are too late

Despite this, the report concluded: "Several staff described their nervousness about identifying the ethnic origins of perpetrators for fear of being thought as racist; others remembered clear direction from their managers not to do so."

It sounds like the police, which presumably are not all "Asian", hold the same attitude as the perps.

As for identifying the race of the perps, what diff does that make? If these had been Europeans, it wouldn't have been a big deal? How about instead of worrying about the ethnicity of the perps, just actually putting a stop to the abuse?

Don't bother Andy. To those two only Muslims are the root of all evil in the world.

I know. Kids abused by Europeans, who cares. It's only evil when it's done by Muslims.

The idea that when the UK media says "Asian" they're talking about Muslims (usually from the subcontinent) is a well known fact. Sikhs to orientals complain, and others complain for them.

In Sweden when there are riots and they talk about "youths", they mean Muslims. Bloggers make a joke of it and call them "Yutes". You know...like from the movie, Cousin Vinny.

As to the story in the OP being part of the "Muslim Grooming Gangs" story I base that on the fact there have been many previous mentions of the perps in those exploiting government run institutions where young girls were kept. To people who read the UK papers, this also is well known.

It was noted quiet clearly in the report that the police and council were 'afraid' of investigating things cuz they would be seen as racist.

They didn't have this problem going after any white perps.

So, race did matter. PC does matter. Lefty policies did matter to these 1400 kids.

Rotherham has a population of 250,000.

So take your white guilt apologies and shove them very far up your ass.

Lots of this abuse could have been prevented if it wasn't for your type of horseshit.

BTW Andy and Xerxes would you two like to debate me on whether or not the "Muslim Grooming Gangs" scandal happened in the UK?

Because if it did (and it did) nothing else I'm saying is unreasonable.

The Council and the police refused to do anything about the GANG RAPES and FORCED CHILD PROSTITUTION AND SEXUAL SLAVERY because the criminals were MOSLEMS and the Council and the police were afraid that PC tyrants would call them RACIST.

When the f*** will Europe AWAKE and ARISE and remove this threat to their children and future generations?

Oh, and I'm not talking about the moslems, I'm talking about every last f***ing rat b@stard who carries the oppressive torch of PC.

    No, and I quote again:
Prof Jay's report said police "regarded many child victims with contempt. The cops were no better than the perps.

What the story says is that people were afraid to name the ethnicity of the perps, once the scandal broke. While not right, it's not a big deal, the big deal is investigating properly and acting on that investigation. That wasn't done because the cops had the same attitudes as the perps, that these were throwaway kids.

Andy, 'moslem' is not an ethnicity. Please stop propagating the same damnable philosophy that made this crime possible in the first place. Thanks.

You're not getting it. The British refer to moslems as 'Asians' because they're afraid of calling someone a moslem. Ethnicity has nothing to do with the issue. A social-political-religious system does.
