This story is BS. The crime rste in Chicago haw been declining for years and a quick google reveals that in 2013 it fell at astounding rates as well.
And since we know criminals rob and murder people that they KNOW have guns, such as other drug dealers, does it really make sense that they've given up crime because they're worried some people MIGHT have a gun? You really think these street criminals follow up on legislative developments and then make conservative risk assessments?
