It would seem you don't know what this is about. I'll start you off.
It starts with this lovely lady in the restraints at a texas police station.
Guess what side of the political spectrum she associates with. Guess the party championing her to attack Perry. Did you guess Democrat? Grab a cigar.
Rosemary Lehmberg says she doesn't have a drinking problem. Her credit card receipts tell a different story.
No wonder she couldn't walk a straight line. How was she sober enough to sign the indictment?
Texas Governor Rick Perry said he will vigorously fight Lehmberg's ridiculous charges.
What it "is," is partisan demagoguery at its worst. The Travis County D.A.'s office is a hotbed of libtard progressivism. They're the bozos who hounded House Majority Tom DeLay out of office. He was, of course, exhonerated, but not before the lawfare loons had done their damage to his career.
Now they're trying the same stunt with Rick Perry, because he's in the way of annointing Hillary Clinton as Obama's Great Successor.
When Perry beats these trumped up charges, and beat them he will, because governors have the statutory authority to veto appropriations bills, the RNC should make Rosemary Lehmberg the poster girl for Democrats nationwide. To paraphrase Dean Wormer, fat, drunk, and vindictive is no way to win elections. And if Democrats want to line up behind an alcoholic megalomaniac who kicks doors and bad-mouths cops we should give them every opportunity to show America exactly what they stand for.
Oh, and until then, I suppose it's fair to ask every Democrat running for office, how many gallons of vodka did you buy last year? I'm guessing that Hillarity Will Ensue.

Was he born in the US? Does he belong to the NRA?
Watch for him to run with ol' Sarah!
This is political payback at either its worst or its finest, depending on how long youve been in the business. After Lehmberg was convicted, Governor Perry demanded her resignation from office, and threatened to veto funding for the DA-run Public Integrity Unit if she refused; she called his bluff, and remains in office to this day. Perry vetoed the funding and thus sealed the fate on the reputations of both Lehmberg and the PIU. Lehmbergs only possible redemption lies in Perrys eventual conviction, but, as is normally the case with very public witch hunts, the factsand the narrativeremain overwhelmingly in Perrys favor.
At the end of the day, Texas democrats have a questionable indictment, and this guy: Rick Perry and Texas Republicans, on the other hand, have a video of the embattled DA and head of the Public Integrity Unit belligerently wasted and strapped to a chair, demanding special treatment from a sheriff named Greg:
At least for now, I think its obvious whos winning the narrative in red Texas.
Travis County itself is notoriously liberal, but you have to wonder just how bad it must be for Battleground Texas and their democrat friends statewide, if theyre forced to bank all expectations on a political play thats almost certain to fail.

Rosemary Lehmberg is at the center of this. She's what it's about. She disgraced her office. Perry refused to finance that office until they dumped her. A blue district (one of the few in Texas) known for putting forward politically motivated legal charges and failing with them thought they'd play their game one more time and exploit the Lehmberg situation. I doubt they even hope to break a pattern and succeed. They only hope to darken Perry's name enough to hamper his chances at bringing down Hilary in 2016.
It's a silly game. Depending on how stupid Perry winds up making the Democrats look on this it could actually improve his chances in 2016.
I dunno, Those Republican wankers down there always seem to find some sort of safe harbour among the loony extremes of their party. He could just as easily turn up as a Presidential candidate, next time around. He would be consistent, anyway, with the quality of candidate that they've managed to come up with in recent years.
When I lived in Louisville Ky, many many years ago, Central Park had a local resident madman who came up to strangers and ranted about you being "saved" or spoke in tongues. He also stunk . After being accosted by him a few times people just avoided him and let him rant. Good advice I think!
But what it has to do with this story concerning Governor Rick Perry and the Alcoholic Democrat District attorney, I don't understand.
Yeah, we have the same problem with this crazy lady over on Vancouver Island. I think they call her Lizzie May, or something like that.

And sorry, his smelling bad had nothing to do with the story. What I get for not following my own advice.
Speaking of things that have nothing to do with the subject, I mean.
