Share prices soar for B.C. companyï¿½s experimental Ebola drug

TORONTO ï¿½ Shares of Tekmira Pharmaceuticals Corp. (TSX:TKM) shot up about 47 per cent Friday following a U.S. regulatory decision that relaxes safety precautions on the Burnaby-based company's experimental drug for treating Ebola.

Hopefully a few doses show in Brampton to counter whatever is happening in the isolation unit at the hospital...better to be safe than sorry

Funny, I saw a U.S. news broadcast last night telling us all about the California company and factory that produced the very same drug. I also remember hearing about it's Winnipeg origins on the CBC a few days back. If a side effect emerges whereby the subject grows a second head, everybody will disown it and it will end up coming from Mexico.
