The trial of Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone on bribery charges appears set to end with a settlement. State prosecutors said they would accept his offer of $100 million to end the case.

Ecclestone is a douche. That said, the punshment for bribery to increase his monopoly on a sport, is money?

That's chump change for that rich asshole.

It's just another example of how the super rich have a seperate legal system where they get to live consequence free lives.

DrCaleb, xerxes, you're both right, this is disgusting. I am so f..king sick and tired of these rich assholes getting away with whatever the hell they want...all because they have an insane amount of money.
I may dislike some people, but I don't like the word 'hate', to me it's such a powerful word. But I absolutely hate slimeballs like this. He pretends he did nothing wrong yet is willing to pay a crazy amount of money to make it go away? Prick!
