Indeed. Don't like us accusing you and your countrymen of attacking our shit? Then quit attacking our shit. Simple enough concept.

Beijing must be behind this. I have no doubt about it.

They don't sit inside my network all day and see all the attacks on my DMZ (air gap) servers coming from IPs in the 58.246.0.0/15 subnet.

Simple tools show me that those IPs are registered to building in Shanghai.

But, let's not blame it on China. It must be "Central Fund Management" attacking us.

All the time. I work at Alberta Finance. Russians. Chinese. Germans. Americans. Belgians. It's doesn't matter. Everyone is always looking for a competitive edge, and if that means hacking into some government's computers . . .who does it hurt?

Good luck to them. We maintain an air gap (ie: unplugged cable) to the outside world for critical systems, so if they can hack that, more power to them! And we are installing new firewalls in the coming weeks, so, good luck with those too! :P

    Suck it NSA!

What negative impacts? That we called them out for it, like the rest of the world has no clue that's what the Chinese do?

I suggest the NRC hire on some Israeli counter-hackers
