An internal report to the Alberta government from Auditor General Merwan Saher, obtained exclusively by CBC News, found that false passengers were booked on the planes making it possible for former premier Alison Redford to fly alone with her entourage.

Fine by me - if it was fraud as it sounds, she (and those in her office) should be held accountable.

Still, I'd guess the defence will be "I didn't book my own flights", which makes sense, I doubt very many Premiers do menial tasks like that.

Great video - thanks I'm bookmarking it! :P

The Wildrose blew it pure and simple - all Smith had to do was renounce the hate and racism from those two MLAs and she would be premier.

Given their dopey ideas like cutting back on infrastructure spending and getting rid of the .05 sanctions for impaired drivers, they are just as clueless now as they were in 2012.

Seriously, what kind of conservative sides with the offender (drunk drivers) instead of the victims?

Maybe they are drunks like King Ralph was...

I have little doubt that the Wildrose will get elected in 2016, but their term will be just as riddled (if not more) by scandals and stupidity as the current PC government.

What a genuinely horrible person Redford's turned out to be. I don't think she had any intention at all of occupying the premier's seat for anything other than soaking up as many freebies and entitlements that she possible could. There should really be a police investigation into her antics because I don't believe that someone so ethically empty wouldn't have taken the opportunity to break other more important laws if she thought (as she clearly did with her parade of gutter-level scandals) that she could get away with it. Canada's had our fair share of bad politicians over our history but Redford might be setting the new record for unapologetic and malignant narcissism.
