The smoke from the Tumbler Ridge fire is so thick today, it looks like there's a thick fog all over town. Visibility is just over a block. You can actually taste the smoke inside the house. It's just nasty.

Of all times for GP not to have any wind. I think that only happens about 3 days a year.

We've had smoke from northern BC and NWT fires for days. Not bad, just like someone down the block is having a BBQ.

    And 30 degrees! *whew*!

A couple people I know have complained about the air quality because they have asthma. It hasn't affected me, but some should limit their time outdoors when it's so hazy.
