A woman in British Columbia whose father killed her mother wants the federal government to plug a loophole that allowed him to collect pension benefits for 28 years until his death.

    This absolutely blows me away. How did this stay on the books so long without someone speaking out?
    Love knowing my tax dollars are going into murderers pockets. I hope they're going to take dependent benefits away from children that murder their parents while they're at it.

    Nothing surprises me anymore when it comes to our laws and legal system.

    Just because you murder your spouse doesn't alter the fact that you are now a widower and are deserving of survivor benefits. :roll:
