A Second World War training aircraft and the remains of a Canadian and three British airmen who went missing in 1942 have been recovered from a remote logging site on Vancouver Island.

    No longer are they missing and presumed dead.

    They can now be laid to rest in peace.

    My dad did his long range navigational training on Ansons .. out of Summerside PEI.

    Here's to that whole generation of young servicemen. Their like probably will not come our way again.

    My uncle and his crew flew Ansons during training and on missions out of Wick, Scotland. They moved on to B-17s shortly after arriving there.
