North Korea fired into disputed waters near a South Korean warship Thursday, a Joint Chiefs of Staff officer said, in the latest sign of tension rising between the bitter rivals in recent weeks.

Firing naval guns at each other ... how quaint and old fashioned. Did they do it "line abreast" like back in Nelson's day?
You need to worry when the start exchanging torpedoes or guided missiles.
p.s. South Korea has a serious, modern navy. The North has a hodge-podge of old craft but their submarine feet numbers up to 70 boats.
