The 160-metre Halit Bey was en route to Trois-Rivi�res, Que., from Germany when it ran aground just outside of Quebec City.

    This ship isn't from the Marshall Islands, it's just flagged there.

    The ship is Turkish.

    We get tiny little tankers in and out of our refinery in Bronte Ontario that specializes in aviation turbine fuel. That seems to be all that they make and the tankers are wee things like 13,000 ton.
