    Sounds ominous.
Good luck Malcom, whatever it is.

Just heard the same, sad day for rock and roll. Hope Malcolm makes a full recovery.

Does it really make any difference now, they already wrote the best music they had to, and I would pay to see a shriveled up Angus prance around in schoolboy shorts.

They made some great music and its still good today, thunderstruck and back in black my personal favs and the live in donnigton blu ray the best surround sound ever but it was time to call it quits anyways.

Now someone please tell the stones, they had a good run now please give it up. Now even Jagger doesn't move like Jagger.

No more need for the rectifier.

Yep. Nothing sadder than old rock and rollers. Take up the blues for fucks sake, that works better for old guys. Or jazz. Or knitting. Rest on your laurels. But who can blame them as long as people are willing to fork over big bucks to see geriatrics on tour.

People go in droves to see the geriatrics because the young ones aren't making a single thing worth listening to. Rock 'n' roll got killed by the pop-sluts. And the new ones pretending to be the heirs apparent couldn't even fill the spandex tights of the worst and most obnoxious of the '80's glam-metal bands.

And the emo fags. They killed rock too.

Yes it's time the Stones to pack it in.

I gotta agree with DD on this one. They should have packed it in years ago. For the last several albums, all their songs sounded the same.

Although I gotta say when Bon Scott was still alive, any band that can incorporate bagpipes into a hard rockin' song AND make them sound friggin' will always be aces in my book. Then again, any band that fires off cannons during a concert is pretty unforgettable

Regardless, I hope whatever it is, Malcolm will be doing better real soon.

Angus isn't Angus anymore. Jagger isn't Jagger anymore.

    But Clapton still rules!

Because he was never a rock star. The blues have saved him. That, that be put out many different styles, and never pranced around the stage.

Their sound has always been consistent, you're not a fan of Black Ice and Stiff Upper Lip? Or do you mean their '90s stuff as well?

Can't Stand Still rocks in my humble opinion. I think those two albums stand up pretty well on their own.

Their songs have all sounded the same since the first ones they put out. I like a good AC DC song, but one goes a long way. Could never sit and listen to a whole album. The screechy voice thing only goes so far too. Usually it's the first part of even a song that sounds exciting and gets you going. All their songs should be limited to under 2 minutes.
