    He played either role depending on the source of his research money. He also regularly mixed up climate with primate. Mind you, this was all after his fruit fly simulator blew a fuse.

    I don't think that's entirely true, he didn't lose. Agree about Suzuki and the premise that we should be able to criticize. The debate isn't settled data changes all the time, but the alarmists don't like to hear that.
