EU has secret plan for police to 'remote stop' cars

The EU is developing a secret plan to give the police the power to control cars by switching the engine off remotely.

    See this is the true idiocy of the EU.

    Occasionally one car creates a problem.
    So the solution is of course to arrange that ALL cars can be shut down.
    And you of course are the ones paying to install this switch.

    Cars on the run can be dangerous for citizens," said a document. "Criminal offenders will take risks to escape after a crime. In most cases the police are unable to chase the criminal due to a lack of efficient means to stop the vehicle safely."

    This is bullshit, the real reason is that the police must ask permission and blah blah because the rights of criminals are wayyy too important.

    And then the resale value of older cars without the big brother stop circuit increases to criminals. :roll:
