Instead of Jerry Lewis as host, they could get Jim Carrey!

I wonder if the judge gave the poor guy a hug?

I'm not sure who I have more contempt for: the little shit's parents, his sleazy lawyer who came up with that steaming pile of horseshit, or the judge who bought into it.

Hopefully the media investigates the family's political connections to see if the judge is on the take. This is an especially bad one, even by the disgusting standards of the rich-always-win-in-Texas. It's almost like Hellfire Club levels of badness for a slap on the wrist to happen after that much death and destruction, no matter how wealthy that evil little cocksucker's parents are.

IKR. This is Texas we're talking about here. A state where they execute the mentally deficient despite the SCOTUS saying they can't but this little work gets off on "affluenza"?

Hard to disagree with Thanos. This one stinks of influence...

There was that case of the wealthy guy who killed his lover or whatever, and got convicted of indignity to remains - forget the details, but in Texas, money talks. Not sure it's so different anywhere else, including Canada. If you've got money for a good lawyer and are of the judges social milieu, you have a much better chance.

Corruption is possible as this area of Fort worth is represented by State Sen. W Davis a California prune who happens to be running for Governor. Down here in San Antonio we are not hearing a thing on this from our local media.

And while we are all appalled at this travesty of justice it's necessary to point out that this isn't all that abnormal and as Mrs. FOG pointed out this ruling may be how the judge fought back after being told, coerced, forced into letting the little shit escape prison where he would have been told, forced or coerced into becoming a Mrs. Little Shit for a much larger and less privileged member of genteel Texas Society.

Scott Brown, the boy's lead defence attorney, said he could have been freed after two years if he had drawn the 20-year sentence.

But instead, the judge "fashioned a sentence that could have him under the thumb of the justice system for the next 10 years," he told the Star-Telegram

Now the trick will be to make sure the little shit spends that next 10 years suffering in some way shape or form for his wanton lack of respect for human life and the law.

Pffft. More like "Little Assholitis". The whole thing starts with him being a petty thief and goes downhill from there.
